So many people would ask: why go to such extraordinary length just to change the nature of humanity, after all isn't it perfect as it is now? My answer is no. The problem is that the nature of humanity is so flawed that only a major shock can dislodge all the false beliefs, assumptions and hypocrisies that reign supreme over humankind. Let us look at some of these and in order to prove that at present there is no conventional way to rectify the mistakes made by humanity throughout history.

- The major flaw of the human race is it's fundamental selfishness. Under any circumstances few humans have ever done something believed detrimental to themselves. In rare cases when such acts are done "selflessly" they are merely motivated by some greater benefit, be it of religious kind or merely for the sake of being able to live ones' life in peace. The ruling economic system of our time is built precisely on this kind of self-interest driven motivation. This attitude prevails in even the poorest of the countries with totally different systems of belief. Not even communism which purported to create the different society was able to eradicate this malady, merely substituting monetary values for power related scale of values. Thus even in distinct future there is no foreseeable way to alter this kind of attitudes by using conventional means.

- Instincts are another major impediment on the way to a better society. By saying instincts I mean the deep imprints left by the society on the human psyche and some innate drives that govern our actions and emotions. The societal influence governs such aspects of life as child-parent relationship, attitude to marriage and sex and self-image of a person. On the other hand deeper instincts are present on a more subconscious level. These are rooted so deep within our minds that it is very difficult to trace their influence on our actions. Only the major change in the nature of society can alter the innate drives programmed into us by the silent majority.

- A further natural development of humans as a species has reached its limits. Unless the human beings are artificially augmented through the process of genetic manipulation in the next century they are going to become inferior species when compared to artificial intelligence. This may lead to subservience and even extinction of the whole race. However, at the moment fundamentalist religious lobbies of the planet attempt to ban any effort for manipulation of human genes, thus making this danger a strong possibility.

- Nationalist drive of the governments and citizens of most countries lead to ever escalating cirle of violence. Sooner or later this attitude will lead to a major conflict which will threaten to undermine the stabilituy of world order without respective positive changes in the structure of society. A result of this could be degradation to barbarism and destruction of human race as a whole.

From the above tendencies it can be deduced that humanity has no plausible alternative for the degradation and destruction of the human race. Any improvement can only be brought about by a radical change. The past history of the world has made it impossible for a major revolution to occur as the ruling classes guard themeselves well against such a posiibility. The only radical change therefore can only be brought about by conditions which will undermine the power base of the ruling classes. Such is the nuclear strikes on the major capitals of the world with subsequent degradation of the states. Another benefit which arises from such strikes is undermining of the structure of society by segregating its classes and bringing about the rethinking of societal attitudes. Thus the nuclear destruction is not bad at all, but can bring innumerable benefits to the human race as a whole.
